Social Marketing Plan Template for Small Businesses
There’s a reason that many small business owners use templates for their monthly newsletter, event invitations, or annual report; they save time and ensure consistency every single time. They’re the perfect way to keep track of everything going on around town without having to spend hours pouring through reams upon reams of spreadsheets. So why shouldn’t they work wonders for keeping tabs on things online too? Here’s the problem — most template sites focus solely on the content side of things. While that certainly helps cut down on some of the prep effort involved, it leaves plenty of questions unanswered, including which channels should you target and how often you should send updates to different audiences. And since no two businesses operate exactly alike, a standard approach isn’t guaranteed to yield consistent results. Luckily, it turns out that just as we’ve seen with physical print publications, there exists a robust community of professionals willing and able to take matters into their own hands.
In most instances, those working remotely earn well above minimum wage which provides flexibility in terms of scheduling and the amount of work being completed per day. All things considered, though, many people find themselves wondering just how lucrative these opportunities really are.
To explore this question further, I dove head first into what some experts consider the greatest source of information on earnings from online teaching positions — Glassdoor. Their research reveals the average salary earned by Canadian instructors ranges anywhere from C$16.33/hr-$21.44/hr according to different regions and areas in Canada. While salaries vary quite considerably across sectors depending on geography and experience level, it still demonstrates some sort of earning potential for tutors who complete their assignments through the online portal. For reference, this rate represents approximately 25% higher than local minimum wage across Canada.
Although there aren’t many publicly available data points regarding online coaching rates in Canada, other international statistics suggest that the country’s overall hourly wages could actually beat expectations; according to LinkedIn, “Canada ranks among the top four countries globally for pay growth.” So, in addition to earning above minimum wage, perhaps there is another reason why employers seek out tutors like yours. And that reason would certainly come down to education and preparation. If you wish to become an online teacher in Springwater, then here’s everything you’ll ever need to know and understand about making extra income while doing something you love.
1. Set Clear Goals
How well prepared are you?
Are you just starting out a career path that involves online instruction? Or, are you someone who is fairly experienced with online schooling and just wants to expand your network? Either way, having realistic goals will help drive focus towards achieving particular milestones toward meeting individual requirements.
Private Tutoring Hours by Province
In order to determine whether or not tutoring jobs exist in a certain area, you first need to look at the different types of schools that reside in your region; public versus private. If they offer both types, then there’s always going to be plenty of opportunities to find tutoring jobs near you. Some provinces only focus on private institutions, whereas others cover both. Private school fees vary widely depending on location and type of education provided.
For further clarification on what type(s) of institution you can expect to find teaching sessions at, check out these lists compiled by EducationUSA and Canadian School Finder respectively. These sites are comprehensive, reliable sources that allow you to search all regions of North America to get a better idea of which locations you should target during your job hunt. However, keep in mind that the information on each website isn’t necessarily 100% accurate — you might end up getting leads for places that aren’t actually looking for tutoring workers. If you’re unsure if tutoring positions are currently available, try calling around to local educational centers yourself. A good place to start would be contacting headmasters and principals. They often have insight regarding openings, but remember to follow protocol and not reveal anything personal.
Math Teacher Requirements:
If you love working with kids and want to learn and teach math, then teaching math could be the perfect career choice for you. A degree in mathematics, statistics or science with strong subject matter knowledge along with experience in educational setting is required. Most importantly a positive attitude towards helping children reach his/her full potential academically while promoting good character qualities is crucial!
Here’s a quick overview to assist you in deciding whether becoming a math teacher is the appropriate path for you. If you feel you meet the basic requirements above but still haven’t quite found what you’re searching for in a job; keep reading. We know, after doing research online, that many people have difficulty figuring out exactly what they’re looking for in regards to jobs; therefore, below are some questions that should prompt you further down the road.
Do I Have the Right Skillsets Required For Teaching Mathematics?
Yes! As long as you possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, you’ll fit right in at the local school. Your main focus will most definitely be around delivering lessons and engaging learners to achieve academic milestones. So whether you’ve got prior work experience in education or not; a bachelor’s diploma would certainly suffice as you begin applying for positions locally. And, depending upon the type of role you’d like to pursue, additional qualifications could include a post graduate certificate program or teaching credential. But, don’t worry, because once you land an interview with one of the schools listed earlier, your professional development journey begins.
We are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working individually, supporting children, assisting adults, and promoting community engagement in order to deliver quality educational instruction to learners of all ages. A positive attitude towards work combined with excellent customer focus and interpersonal communication abilities are required. Applicants must possess strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to multitask well under pressure; high level of professionalism with good organizational skills; ability to use technology effectively; experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred but not required. Our qualified instructional staff provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment which encourages academic achievement and promotes student growth, development, self esteem, confidence, and citizenship. Successful candidates should expect a fast paced, challenging career filled with opportunities for personal enrichment, professional advancement, and financial rewards. There’s no doubt that tutoring is often seen as less financially rewarding than other teaching jobs — yet some people find they’re actually able to earn significantly more through this form of work.
Here are five advantages why you should consider getting started tutoring:
1.) Flexibility
You’ll be given assignments at times convenient to you, allowing you to choose the amount of hours per week you wish to dedicate to your lessons.
2.) More Opportunities For Growth
Tutors who work independently typically get better pay because they aren’t bound by class schedules. Plus, since they offer lesson packages rather than fixed hourly rates, they can easily adjust their income to fit their financial needs.
3.) The Potential To Earn A Lot Of Money
In addition to making more, tutors can charge premium fees for certain subjects and specializations. These additional earnings allow them to save a considerable sum of money every year.
4.) Better Benefits Than Teaching Positions And Salaries
While there are plenty of benefits associated with being employed, many teachers struggle to receive health insurance. On top of that, salaries tend to range anywhere from $35 per hour to around $45-$60 per hour depending upon experience; whereas, tutors usually earn upwards of $40-$50 per hour after covering basic expenses and taxes.
5.) Higher Job Prospects
Because independent tutors don’t rely solely on schools, colleges and universities for clientele, they have the ability to market themselves outside these networks. They could potentially become well-known experts in different areas such as math education and writing instruction. By expanding their reach, they have higher chances of landing job offers elsewhere such as college or university programs and non-profit organizations.

If you know someone who teaches children or young adults, ask him/her which companies hire private instructors. If they say yes, then that person probably knows how to get hired by the same company again next school term.
If you don’t know anyone like this, check online to see if you can locate local schools where teachers and parents post information regarding available teaching positions. Once you identify potential employers, contact them to learn what you would need to provide to work successfully as a tutor. Be ready with examples from past work experiences to back up your statements.
In addition to being well qualified, you should also consider other qualities that employers seek in prospective employees, including professionalism and integrity.
Tutorjobs provides people like yourself the ability to earn income through helping high school and college aged individuals improve their educational outcomes. Whether this type of work suits you or not really depends on the amount of flexibility you seek. If you enjoy being able to spend most days doing whatever feels natural then you should probably avoid these roles because they typically involve long periods of sitting down with one student at a time. On the other hand, if you value freedom and independence then being your own boss is something that would appeal to you. Either way though, having a solid understanding of how your chosen occupation actually functions first ensures your experience is positive. And since the majority of tutoring careers are fairly straightforward, the following information should prove useful regardless of whether you decide to enter into this particular career field.
How Much Can I Make? Depending on your location, you could easily earn anywhere from $500-$2000 per lesson depending on factors like subject matter expertise, prior teaching experience, age group targeted, location, scheduling availability and skill levels required. Keep in mind that your hourly rate isn’t exactly what you’ll ultimately end up earning but rather serves as an indicative figure to get you started thinking about compensation opportunities in greater detail. For example, someone who lives in rural Canada might only charge half as much given the shorter distance travelled, whereas somebody living near busy highways in Toronto might demand substantially higher rates thanks to increased competition and transportation costs incurred during travel to and from sessions.

Who Should Adopt TutorOne’s Tutoring Methodology?
Every parent knows that the average public school education system has its faults, but few know that there are alternatives. Every year, parents become educated more about the effectiveness of individualizing children’s education. They understand that learning styles and learning strategies vary greatly among students and that students require additional focus and encouragement to excel, especially in subjects such as math, science, and reading. Students learn differently than adults; children absorb knowledge faster and retain it longer than adults can; and they’re less prone to procrastination. TutorOne’s comprehensive approach teaches kids to think positively, and teaches students when they don’t perform up to par.
Testimonial By A Parent Like You
"My son recently turned 15, and started taking Advanced Placement exams. He was doing quite poorly in Spanish II and English III, having scored only a 2 and 3 respectively. With one week left before he needed to take the AP test, I decided to enroll him in TutorOne Private Tutoring. His teacher had told me that he was a bright kid, but just didn’t put forth the effort required to excel. My son came home every day telling me about the amazing learning experience he was having with TutorOne. He did score a 4 on his Spanish II test, and his overall grade point average went from a 2.9 (D) to a 4.8 (A+) in Spanish, and a 1.7 (F) to a 4.0 (A) in English. Most importantly though, my son learned to love his studies and got a kick out of seeing his grades soaring. It was truly eye opening to see how one lesson per week changed everything." ~ Lisa H.,Parent, California
