We are a company that focuses on teaching individuals who wish to become better speakers of English. If you’re interested in joining our team, please send me an email or reply below. Please include information regarding your experience level, current knowledge base, preferred method(s) of communication, availability schedule and any questions I should answer first. Thank you!
In addition to being able to offer private lessons, many companies prefer to hire certified EFL/ESL instructors to teach group classes. As a result, they often need to search far and wide for qualified workers—so be prepared to show yourself worthy by sharing some insight into your teaching style. We’ll ask you some questions to get to know you and see whether you’d fit well into the role.
Here are 10 traits we’ve identified that make great teaching jobs stand apart from average ones.
1. Flexibility. You won’t find a traditional classroom setting when working in education. Instead, expect a mix of online content delivery, student-driven practice sessions, individualized instruction, small groups, large lectures and lots of homework.
2. Accountability. Teaching isn’t always fun. But it pays really, really well, which makes it a career choice worth considering. Plus, you’ll receive regular feedback from students to inform your next steps along the way.
3. Community support. Students benefit immensely from having peers around them during class hours. And, since you’ll spend your days interacting with eager learners on top of your own personal study requirements, you’ll quickly develop close ties to your fellow educators, too.
4. Professionalism.
For instance, in Australia, high schools must offer four modules with one sitting every other week, whereas universities are required to hold classes twice weekly. However, both programs allow applicants for admission to sit tests online as a requirement for further evaluation.
Teaching certifications vary widely by country; however, general requirements include passing standardized exam assessments in English language proficiency and mathematics. For example, in China, prospective ESL tutors typically take TOEIC and ACTFL exams if applying for certification via TESL America’s Center Network, otherwise taking the Beijing Language and Culture University Bachelor of Teaching Chinese Certificate Examination. A degree in education is ideal for anyone hoping to pursue teacher training positions, especially since it provides valuable experience in classroom management, curriculum research and development, counseling and special needs children among other things. Many colleges host regular workshops aimed specifically towards novice teachers, which prepare participants thoroughly for their first few years in the field.
First things first, if you’re hoping to land a career as a private tutor in Québec, the good news is that most of the work involves meeting kids face-to-face and helping them achieve academic milestones like reading comprehension and arithmetic mastery. However, if you’ve got the requisite teaching experience on top of other professional certificates and degrees, then chances are that you’ll end up joining one of our high quality school programs, which include Montessori Schools and Kindergarten Programs. While both options offer similar opportunities for earning additional incomes and gaining valuable life-skills, only Kindergarten Program graduates are permitted to teach English Classes. Additionally, they receive certification upon completion of training sessions and must apply every September 1st. For more details visit www.kindergardenquebec.qc.ca/en/. If you’d rather opt for a different approach to getting started, consider enrolling in a program offered through École Sécurité Publique de Quesnel. These courses take place online and feature interactive content that helps enhance classroom experiences via digital tools like audio recordings and video lessons, but still provide students with ample support and guidance along the way thanks to tutors and mentors who live around the globe. What type of teaching jobs are available?
Depending upon your academic background and personal experience, Tutor One will be able to offer you several job opportunities:
• Private Tuition Sessions
If you’re still studying, but feel ready to dive into a professional environment, we’d like to welcome qualified candidates for our private tuition sessions. These sessions take place Monday through Friday around 8 am to 12 pm (midday break). They typically involve 45 minutes on average per student. Depending on the length, content, and grade progression required during each single lesson, tutors receive $60-$150 per hour worked;
• Group Lessons
Group lessons allow tutors to benefit from different perspectives and help develop their own unique approach which can contribute significantly towards student improvements. Each group consists of 3-4 students usually from similar backgrounds and thus requires specific approaches according to age/grade/learning style differences among classmates. We generally allocate 2 hours for these sessions. Each participant receives 30$ per hour ($180 minimum);
• Online Coaching
Online coaching is aimed at individuals whose knowledge is already high enough to provide effective guidance. Through the use of Skype and specialized software, this service aims at covering the remaining gap between theory and practice for some subjects.
How does one go about applying?
Since every position needs specific qualifications that must exceed company standards, please have a good idea of what you should bring with you the moment you apply. How Much Money Can Online TUTORS Make in Québec?
According to PayScale’s 2017 report on compensation trends in Canadian education, average hourly wage for full-time teachers in 2016 was $23,988 per annum ($21,637 on contract). For part-time instructors, the figure rose slightly to just over $27k, or almost $25k on a contract basis. These numbers reflect the fact that many people who work as tutors do so without being salaried employees. Instead they earn income via commissions paid for every lesson they teach. However, you should be aware that some companies pay online educators significantly higher than those listed above—for example, in Ontario, you could potentially see earnings of nearly 30% more for teaching lessons online versus traditional face-to-face classes.
In terms of total annual revenue earned, the top five highest earners among tutors working for Tutor1 in Canada made around $80K, $75K, $50K, $45K, and $44K respectively. In other words, these online tutors make anywhere from four times less, up to six times as much as teachers employed in regular school settings.
If you’d like to take advantage of the lucrative opportunities available in Canadian education but aren’t quite ready to commit yourself financially to a full-time job in the field yet, consider becoming an independent contractor instead.
Online tutors have plenty of flexibility to offer clients, which makes their earning potential far greater than those found in a typical 9–5 environment.
We’re always seeking passionate educators to join our team. If you enjoy helping children develop critical thinking capabilities through engaging lesson concepts, please apply today!

Best Free Apps Of 2020 [Free App Download]
Hello Friends welcome back to another awesome update and i am going to tell u whats the best FREE APP OF THE YEAR AND WHAT ARE THE BEST FREE APPS FOR ALL USERS IN THIS MONTH 2020.
And if you haven’t noticed already, I actually cover every single aspect of getting started in this business! From preparing your CV correctly, making sure you meet the expectations of recruiters, choosing a college/university program that fits your needs, understanding the different kinds of degrees available (and which ones make sense for you), writing essays that land interviews, handling interview questions and answering tricky interview situations, applying online, submitting your resume to multiple positions online as well as face-to face, networking through LinkedIn groups, attending conferences, speaking at various events, meeting amazing teachers with excellent credentials, developing relationships with current & former employers, taking tests and even doing mock interviews via Skype -- all by following my stepby step approach and showing you exactly what YOU need to be successful!
So let’s begin!!
This edition of the QUEBEC SAT Tutor Jobs Guide covers EVERYTHING!!! Including ALL SECTIONS OF THE TEST including general education requirements and specific subject areas, tips about how to structure your experience and prepare for the test, what colleges accept applications, which schools offer scholarships, sample essay writing, study tipsto improve your scoring...
Some other factors to consider when determining how many hours you should expect to spend a week as a contractor...
How long can I be expected to go on call to handle additional sessions during high demand periods? Most companies hire tutors because they’re looking for stability and consistency but some want flexibility and availability. Some companies prefer a certain amount each week whereas others ask you to book sessions according to customer requests. Whatever situation applies, think carefully ahead of time and negotiate accordingly.
What will my hourly pay range be like once I’m hired? Many tutoring agencies offer fixed amounts starting out and increase these weekly depending on experience and quality of services provided; others adjust rates periodically depending on client feedback. Ask around to find out what the going rate is in your area and try and stick close to this; otherwise you’ll end up losing precious commissions along the way!
Do I get reimbursed for expenses? While tutors normally aren’t covered under health insurance policies, they usually receive reimbursement upon request from clients. If you’ve decided to provide online lessons, be sure to inform the person receiving the payment that the funds will cover all related fees including internet charges.
Will I need references prior to accepting any job offers? All reputable tutoring firms require personal reference letters signed by current clients. You shouldn’t hesitate asking for client testimonials until the interview date unless specifically requested prior. References might vary depending on the type of service offered.
There are many different types of schools that offer tuition: private institutions, international baccalaureat programs, post secondary diploma’s/degrees, vocational training centers and colleges, community colleges, etc.. All these schools differ in terms of curriculum, teaching methods, curriculum hours, tuition rates, student demographics, teacher qualifications, academic requirements and admissions criteria, etc.. So be aware that tuition prices could drastically affect your decision regarding which type of program to attend and what institution to go. Also keep in mind that some provinces also provide financial assistance through scholarships, grants, loans or government funding. Find out about available financial aid opportunities to see whether they would benefit you personally (e.g.: bursary programs offered by provincial governments in B.C., Ontario or Quebec; federal and provincial grant programs in B.C.).
Tutorial services usually offer hourly payment (between 10$ to 40$, according to experience and availability of the tutor.) They typically offer a flat fee rate for a fixed period of time (usually 1 semester / 4 weeks), which covers both your hourly wage plus expenses incurred during tutorship sessions(travel time, lunches, transportation fees, etc.), therefore ensuring your income stability while allowing you to work from home to earn extra cash! Depending on the duration and the number of lessons planned, the amount paid usually ranges between 15$ to 30$. A good rule of thumb is to always ask how your tutoring earnings are going to get reimbursed once they reach 50% of the total value of the lesson.
Who Should Adopt TutorOne’s Tutoring Methodology?
Every parent knows that the average public school education system has its faults, but few know that there are alternatives. Every year, parents become educated more about the effectiveness of individualizing children’s education. They understand that learning styles and learning strategies vary greatly among students and that students require additional focus and encouragement to excel, especially in subjects such as math, science, and reading. Students learn differently than adults; children absorb knowledge faster and retain it longer than adults can; and they’re less prone to procrastination. TutorOne’s comprehensive approach teaches kids to think positively, and teaches students when they don’t perform up to par.
Testimonial By A Parent Like You
"My son recently turned 15, and started taking Advanced Placement exams. He was doing quite poorly in Spanish II and English III, having scored only a 2 and 3 respectively. With one week left before he needed to take the AP test, I decided to enroll him in TutorOne Private Tutoring. His teacher had told me that he was a bright kid, but just didn’t put forth the effort required to excel. My son came home every day telling me about the amazing learning experience he was having with TutorOne. He did score a 4 on his Spanish II test, and his overall grade point average went from a 2.9 (D) to a 4.8 (A+) in Spanish, and a 1.7 (F) to a 4.0 (A) in English. Most importantly though, my son learned to love his studies and got a kick out of seeing his grades soaring. It was truly eye opening to see how one lesson per week changed everything." ~ Lisa H.,Parent, California
The TutorOne Difference
As you are now finding out, TutorOne offers a wide variety of different levels, age ranges, and subjects to accommodate all individual learning styles. What sets us apart from other programs is our commitment to educating and encouraging each student’s individuality, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. TutorOne is committed to the belief that every student thrives best in a positive, fun-loving, nurturing learning environment. We encourage our students to explore new ideas and engage in hands-on learning situations. TutorOne does not believe that children benefit from being confined to a class room in front of a standard curriculum all day long.
The TutorOne Difference is about creating an engaging atmosphere in which kids feel motivated to excel. The majority of TutorOne schools operate as small academies; they offer individual learning environments that allow students to interact within a group or with one-to-one tutors.
