A: SSAT stands for Secondary School Admission Test and this test is compulsory to enter UBC Schools. If you would like to be able to apply for admissions to UBC schools then having high SAT score which can go beyond 1600 points is highly advisable since UBC requires minimum 1850 points. As far back I remember, I used to take both tests i.e.. GMAT and TOFEL/SSAT and had scored above 1700 in TOFEL test but my GPA was around 2.5-3.0 so I failed in applying to some universities including University of British Columbia(UBC). However after receiving a few excellent recommendations, I took only Tofel test again in 2019 and scored 2300+ with 3.6 GPA! So, that’s why taking SSAT multiple times can prove beneficial because you increase chances of getting accepted by increasing percentage everytime you sit for the exam until finally you get through with minimum required scores! And by scoring well enough, you can improve yourself as well as your family’s lifestyle and financial situation!! Not just that!! I personally feel that being part of UBC makes me stronger than ever and I’m motivated to work harder and achieve higher academic achievement which ultimately gives me peace of mind during stressful situations especially studying abroad.
