My Tuition will consist of 45 minutes per week, 5 days a week. As you read above, you’ll pay $65 per hour plus GST/HST. All payments must settle prior starting your first lesson to prevent any delay issues for your next semester schedule.
Your tutor will meet you in front of the building across the street from McGill University which leads onto Rue Sainte Lucie Avenue in LaSalle and then take a short walk down. First let me tell you something； I love languages!! Not only because they’re beautiful, poetic and fascinating but also because being able to communicate and understand another culture helps us gain valuable social experiences which help develop ourselves personally. When I started studying Spanish back when I was 16 years old, it quickly became obvious that I loved talking and communicating in this foreign language. So I decided then and there, “I wanted to be fluent.” After 4+ years of study, living abroad in Mexico for 2 months (learning spanglish) and spending countless hours practicing everyday at home, I finally reached fluency level 5/6.
When I first started out and began to work professionally I realized that I had a natural ability to connect with my students on an emotional level and could really see the sparkles of excitement and joy come alive inside them during class sessions!! This helped immensely when working alongside other experienced teachers who would always ask me, “How did she get her learners engaged?! She’s amazing!!! Her passion makes me feel like everything else fades away!“
So when thinking about what type of learner I’d be great at reaching, I figured that since I’ve learned to speak a lot of different languages well； why stop at English?? Why wouldn’t I teach someone to speak French???
