We’ve got some great news today, folks! After almost 10 years running this community I’m stepping down as moderator.
I’ll stay around as active member and continue to post content but it won’t be moderating anything anymore. As many of my posts show, I enjoy doing the heavy lifting in moderation. But I’d rather spend more time writing awesome tutorials than sitting behind a computer screen moderating comments all day long. So I hope that everyone else here does me proud and continues to keep everything in check here.
So what happens next? Well, we’re going to bring back “Moderator Emeritus” status for myself for another few weeks and then I’ll retire completely. (There will still be occasional guest posters.) When Moderator Emeritus expires I’ll leave the forums entirely -- they won’t be able to function without someone moderating them.

Then ask her “What did you notice?” She’ll probably answer “My wallet was lighter”, and you can say “Well, I bought milk today. Milk costs $0.30 per liter. So next week, I won’t buy milk again.” She’ll understand exactly why you changed your shopping habits without being told explicitly.
6) Give feedback after each lesson. Ask questions about how your student learned. Was something unclear? What worked really well? Why is he/she struggling? Kids learn better when given constructive criticism.
