Welcome back, friends! My channel focuses primarily on education, business development, real life examples, tips & tricks, case studies, lessons learned... lots of things. Some people believe that mathematics should only be taught privately to children because it’s something they “need” to learn. But I’m here to show you that your classroom would greatly benefit from having some form of group instruction during these subjects. Not only does it provide motivation to many students who hate being singled out in class, but it creates synergy in groups of different abilities. Most importantly though, it provides a sense of belonging among ALL your learners -- including myself -- allowing me to be comfortable sharing ideas and concepts before I feel confident enough to explain them individually.
So without further ado, let’s dive straight into mathematics education for primary school kids.

Why Should Parents Consider Sending Their Child to A Private Education Institution?
Parents should consider sending their kids to a private education institution because they believe this environment offers a higher quality service than traditional government run institutions, with many people believing their kid would benefit greatly from having the freedom of choice afforded by attending a privately funded establishment.
How Does Tuition Compare Across Schools Within Your Neighbourhood? Many parents find the cost differences across publicly financed options to be unappetising; however, the cost difference varies dramatically depending upon the type of program being taught. For example, some programs like art and drama costs less per student then math does. Some other programs like science and PE are significantly cheaper per pupil than most.
Is There Anything Different Between Publicly Financed Institutions And Privately Funded One’s?
There are several key things you’ll notice when comparing both types of schools:
1.) The amount of flexibility given to teachers and staff regarding curriculum development. Teachers tend to teach whatever courses they feel passionate about, while those working in privately owned institutes often have full control over how they develop the course materials used.2.) The level of autonomy granted to individual students. Students enrolled in governmentally operated establishments do get to select electives outside of core subjects but the selection of these classes isn’t nearly as extensive nor well regulated, whereas in privately run ones the decision making power lies solely with the teacher.3.) Student participation in class is different.
How does math support every area of life?
Math as a subject needs to be studied from elementary school onwards through post-secondary education. All subjects tie together but no single subject should replace math at home, in class, around the table, on TV shows, radio programs, online videos and web sites — anywhere kids spend some amount of time. Students who get good scores in math often excel in other disciplines. When it comes to college admissions, employers say they care most about SAT/ACT score averages. But those tests measure only rote memorization; if you’re great at math, then you can use this ability to solve problems across many different areas of study. Mathematics gives you real world experience which translates well to virtually anything. As soon as you learn something for yourself and it becomes useful, something inside you changes and you become a “math person”. Learning mathematics is like going back in time 50 years or longer. Many people today learned arithmetic through playing games on handheld electronic devices and computers when these devices just weren’t available because you couldn’t afford one. Today children play video games for hours without losing interest because technology keeps offering more complex versions. A generation ago most adults knew multiplication tables by heart with pencil and paper being used simply to check numbers. Computers came along making everything easier. For example, in grade 12 high schools students had to write a lot of essay assignments such as essays about a certain topic, speeches, short stories, reports, etc.; however, nowadays teachers assign an assignment requiring the student to work with several types of documents including letters, emails, blogs and websites – where it’s necessary to apply basic mathematical concepts. Even though all students today go through similar material, how we teach and test differs depending on the age group. Most importantly, parents no longer provide feedback on homework assignments. They’re busy themselves taking care of family issues.
MathSoup was founded back in 2004 and since then it’s become synonymous with great education software. Using a unique combination of algorithms and artificial intelligence, MathSoup helps teachers teach effectively through personalized feedback for individual learners. Teachers receive instant reports detailing strengths and weaknesses along with suggestions on how to better engage their students. All this happens via an engaging student dashboard allowing teachers to see exactly who needs extra support, how they performed against class norms, and what topics they struggled most with. Students enjoy immediate benefit in terms of increased engagement due to personalized messaging. For those feeling overwhelmed during lessons, this tool gives them a sense of security knowing that everything else is being taken care of for them. And it goes without saying that having access to real-time teacher assessments provides added incentive for learners to try harder. So if you feel like math is holding your child back, take note of these tips below.
1. Focus on memorization first and foremost.

How does Math help me understand things better?
Is this the perfect subject for kids?
Why should they be interested in math?
Math helps us measure stuff. We use it every day. If we didn’t learn basic concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios we would struggle to work out bus fares, restaurant bills and most other daily calculations.
Math gives us a common language with which to communicate, reason logically and explore ideas. But why stop there? When did maths become just another boring class? Why does it feel like no matter what you try to teach children, it feels like they already ’know’ everything anyway? Is Math really that uninteresting?
In today’s modern world, children spend hours upon hours online playing games. They play video games on consoles that cost thousands of dollars and watch movies that have been edited by professionals. So why shouldn’t they enjoy doing the same thing offline?
When you sit down and explain something to your kid, you’re building their understanding of life around them. And that is why you need to take advantage, when teaching them maths by making it relevant. When they ask questions about numbers, shapes, measurements; show them examples of these concepts and allow them to draw conclusions themselves rather than forcing answers on them.
This way they’ll see real value in mathematics. They will enjoy studying and working through problems. They will gain confidence and self esteem through solving mathematical puzzles. By the time they reach secondary school level they will truly understand the concept behind maths. This approach to education is called Constructive Algebraic Learning. This is the foundation of mathematics today’s generation needs to thrive in our ever changing digital age.
So why bother spending time teaching them a topic you yourself find dull? Well firstly because if you don’t then who else will? Secondly you’ve got a responsibility towards educating the next generations.
How does mathematics work?
Mathematics isn’t just a bunch of numbers; rather, they are symbols used to represent real world concepts like angles, area, length, volume, and many more. These mathematical concepts help us solve problems in everyday life, including figuring out the size of furniture, how far apart people stand during conversation, determining whether a person is lying, predicting weather patterns, and finding ways to maximize profits.
What is calculus?
Calculus is the study of limits, derivatives, integrals, and other functions which allow us to determine areas under curves and find maxima/minima. The most common example is calculating the distance traveled by a car during acceleration. Calculus gives you a way to predict these things without having seen every single instance first hand.
Why take math lessons?
Math lessons can improve your problem solving abilities by helping you to learn how to break down complex equations, figure out formulas quickly, and make sense of large amounts of information. They are great tools for improving your critical thinking skills.
When should kids start taking math courses?
There are different schools who offer math programs for elementary aged children, middle school programs, and highschool level programs. Elementary children typically begin with prealgebra while higher grades tend towards algebra and geometry. Middle School students usually focus on trigonometry and precalculus. High School students often learn advanced topics like linear algebra, probability theory, statistics, and calculus. All of these subjects are great foundations for college prep classes as well.
Are math tutors necessary?
To ensure that these limitations won’t happen anymore, private tutors must provide high quality lessons to students who seek help. A good teacher is able to identify the student’s needs and adapt his/her curriculum accordingly to accommodate those needs. He/she should offer the students something unique. For instance, some people like studying problems which involve mathematical formulas whereas other individuals prefer doing problem solving exercises, and yet another group prefers writing assignments instead of reading books. These variations allow tutors to cater to their clients’ specific preferences. If you’re interested in taking advantage of this type of personalized service, contact us today! We’d be pleased to assist you!
Private math tutoring offers a lot more than just helping children understand how to solve equations, though; it gives parents the peace of mind to see their offspring mastering basic arithmetic concepts. It can take a child years to master algebra, but it takes mere months for him/her to grasp the basics.

Who Should Adopt TutorOne’s Tutoring Methodology?
Every parent knows that the average public school education system has its faults, but few know that there are alternatives. Every year, parents become educated more about the effectiveness of individualizing children’s education. They understand that learning styles and learning strategies vary greatly among students and that students require additional focus and encouragement to excel, especially in subjects such as math, science, and reading. Students learn differently than adults; children absorb knowledge faster and retain it longer than adults can; and they’re less prone to procrastination. TutorOne’s comprehensive approach teaches kids to think positively, and teaches students when they don’t perform up to par.
Testimonial By A Parent Like You
"My son recently turned 15, and started taking Advanced Placement exams. He was doing quite poorly in Spanish II and English III, having scored only a 2 and 3 respectively. With one week left before he needed to take the AP test, I decided to enroll him in TutorOne Private Tutoring. His teacher had told me that he was a bright kid, but just didn’t put forth the effort required to excel. My son came home every day telling me about the amazing learning experience he was having with TutorOne. He did score a 4 on his Spanish II test, and his overall grade point average went from a 2.9 (D) to a 4.8 (A+) in Spanish, and a 1.7 (F) to a 4.0 (A) in English. Most importantly though, my son learned to love his studies and got a kick out of seeing his grades soaring. It was truly eye opening to see how one lesson per week changed everything." ~ Lisa H.,Parent, California
